Holy crab! I can't believe that I spent about 210,000 won on buying textbooks for this semester.
Each book is from 12,000 to 68,000, and I've got 7 books total. Some of the books were not available because they were not imported. I ordered them from Amazon.
Expensive prices are reasonable, and buying them for academic reasons are acceptable. But, I believe the books used in university classes should be priced lower than they are now, possibly supported by the government or the school administration, so that university students could afford them.

I spent more than $300 while I was in US for a while for 4 textbooks, making me astonished. There should be a support for student for purchasing academic materials :(
btw, happy chu-suk holiday!
